Dunkin' - Columbus
Dunkin'
Description
Dunkin’ Donuts has garnered a mix of admiration and frustration from its patrons. While some customers rave about the delicious coffee and friendly staff, others express disappointment over frequently unavailable donuts and service inconsistencies. Reports of mobile order mishaps and unexpected substitutions have detracted from the overall experience at certain locations. However, new employee training seems to be improving service quality, as some diners have noted the welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff. Despite its challenges, the location on Veterans Pkwy continues to attract loyal followers, underscoring a hopeful trajectory for this beloved donut shop.

"What happened to the coffee? It's not nearly as good as it used to be. There are new people serving, and honestly, I'm confused about what Dunkin' has done. It used to be my favorite, but now it's just not the same. I really hope it improves soon. It definitely needs some work."
The woman with "QUEEN" tattooed on her arm clearly does not enjoy her job. She was incredibly rude. If you're unhappy in your role, perhaps you should find a job that doesn't involve interacting with the public. I've never experienced someone slamming a window in my face while I was still speaking. I’m willing to spend the extra money to go to Starbucks instead. This was my final straw with Dunkin' here. Most of the staff seems unfriendly.
This location is the best in our area in terms of product consistency and staff service. This morning, we decided to dine inside and encountered a disgruntled customer who reacted extremely negatively to missing a beverage from his mobile order. It was evident that he hadn’t checked or confirmed his order at the window before leaving. Instead of addressing the issue calmly, he came inside and loudly berated the staff, even though they were busy on a Sunday morning. I felt for the team, but they handled the situation with professionalism and did not engage with his aggression. Kudos to this team from a Customer Experience Manager with over 30 years in the industry!
Dunkin' Donuts truly has the best donuts, no question about it. I visited this location with the simple intention of buying two donuts when the worker began to share all about how he is new to the area and wants to help others. I just wanted my donuts! He mentioned he had a bucket for collecting donations to assist those in need. He went to the back, brought out the bucket, and offered it to me. I felt pressured to contribute, even though I just wanted my donuts. Overall, I didn't feel great about that entire interaction.
The Dunkin' on North Veterans Parkway needs some improvements. The woman taking orders at the counter was extremely rude! It's disappointing to see someone show up to work with such a negative attitude. If you can't put aside personal issues before coming to work, perhaps you shouldn't be in that position. It's straightforward—if you're feeling this way, just call in sick! Customers shouldn't have to endure such unkindness!
