My husband and I went to eat dinner there yesterday. Our food tasted so good as always!
Me and 3 friends just had lunch at the downtown Columbus location. Arrived at 12:10, they were out of lettuce, blackbeans and salsa. When we asked about the salsa, cause everyone wants salsa right, the gentleman said he had not had time to make it. Spent $16 for a burrito and drink for lunch so in my mind being out of certain items at this time of day is not acceptable. Most likely will not be back.
A Tex Mex chain along the lines of Chipotle/Moe's, where you can build your meal at the counter. The person who made my food did it reasonably quickly, followed instructions, and wasn't unpleasant, and that is all you really need at this sort of place. The quality is similar to the above Southwest chains, but quantity for price may be better. I got a tofu salad. I was a little worried about the availability of the tofu based on a previous review, but I arrived and there was plenty of tofu ready to go. There's a good selection of toppings for you to customize your order. The salad was good! Everything was really fresh and the tofu and salsa were flavourful. The serving was huge! Really good value you could easily get two or even three meals out of one of these salads, and it's only $9. Chips and salsa are complimentary. I love these places with the self serve salsa bars. I tried all three of the salsas on offer and the verde was my favourite since I like salsa verde in general, but they were all good. The chips were unremarkable but they got the job done as a vessel for lots of salsa. I had an iced tea too, which was, again, unremarkable but fine.
Every single time I go in there I leave with problem I paid 15$ for food I couldn’t even eat I asked for a quesadilla on white bread and chicken and rice usually they put it to the side and let u put ur lettuce sauce etc. she put it strait on the grill with out asking me any questions and I waited at the station to get it then the dude with the pink hair just rang me up he’s a good worker never had problems with him and the whole time pink haired girl is whispering to the point we’re I had to ask her 4 times what she was saying I’m not petty to leave a review but it pissed me off paying 15$ to food I gave to my homeless buddy down here he enjoyed it so I’m happy about that
My hometown Barberitos apparently spoiled me because today I learned pico sour cream aren't standard with a quesadilla meal you gotta ask. The food was good the staff was friendly. The indoor seating was a little dirty, not entirely unexpected after a lunch rush. Parking: 2 hour limited street parking on weekdays.
