Went there with my wife a few months ago (my work gave each employee a gift card) and ever since I have been looking for an excuse to go back. Wish they did lunch/Sunday brunch! Put the pulled pork egg rolls on your list of must try. If you go for the lamb burger ask for goat cheese. View all feedback.
What Bruce G doesn't like about Cola's:
Cola's has long been one of our favorite restaurants in downtown Columbia. However, we've noticed that recently the seasoning of the food hasn't been quite to our taste. The flavors have been... View all feedback.
Always a pleasure to come to Cola's. The service can be inconsistent but we had a great server this time. They do make a big issue about reservations and seating. They don't seat your party unless you are all there which I find inconvenient. Definitely recommend visiting with out of town guests.
Crispy whole flounder was excellent. Oysters Rockefeller still a hit. The sesame tuna was tasty. I would have preferred it cooked a bit more. However the server made clear it was going to be rare. Overall a very good meal which everyone was happy with their entreesand the attentive service.
Great spot for a date night. Good food, good service, comfortable atmosphere. Some portions are oddly large (fried zucchini appetizer? yet some are lacking (swordfish portion was extremely small and just a touch too greasy however the overall experience is well above average and I would return. Brick chicken was amazing, good wine list.
Professional staff, excellent food quality, happy to accommodate all dietary requirements
Enjoyed Cola’s again with my college daughter and friends from out of town. My friend had a delicious she-crab soup and scallops which she raved about. Cola’s accommodated my gluten-free vegan vegetable sides plate and even had an amazing strawberry-lime sorbet for my dessert. The brownie and ice cream looked amazing and everyone loved it. We were seated in the side room with the lovely mural where it was a bit more quiet than the main dining room. Nice service, good menu, great food.
