Tucked in a corner of of old Colmar downtown, Sushia is a real find. The menu offers Chinese, Thai and Japanese Sushi and Sashimi. We had lunch and took the set menu offer. It comes with soup, salad, main course. We ordered sushi and assorted Japanese mixed grill. Awesome food, how it is preparedand served, so fresh and so tasty. One of our best Asian experience we have in France. Our sincere compliments. If you are... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sushia:
Visited with family - and although a friendly reception the service took very long due to only one waiter. We left after 10 minutes without any offers to have anything to drink. Furthermore it seemed that everybody waited for service so we left. The restaurant looked fine but the Running Sushi Conveyor Belt was almost empty of sushi with only fairly slow re-filling. Additionally the portions was quite big which of cour... View all feedback.
Pleasant decor and friendly service, good food and fresh, a very large selection of delicacies. Good wines and drinks. Sushi very tasty.
Very poor place. Quality of food very low. Lemon chicken smelled so bad and when i expressed this the owner came out with a piece of chicken in his hand to deny this. We paid and left hungry. This place is going out of biz dont bother.
Spent 5 days in Colmar last week and we found this restaurant. We were so delighted by the food and the staff that we visited the restaurant 3 times in the 5 days. Good selection of sushi. Enjoyed the Tempora prawns in particular.
The sushi rolls at Sushia were excellent. Everything was super fresh and tasted wonderful. We were really craving Japanese food this place was good. We even complimented the Sushi Chef as he did a great job.
After a lunch of raclette and a cup of gelato, sushi sounded like a good way to finish the day when we arrived in Colmar. The restaurant is attractive and the staff were working hard to accommodate a full room of unsure foreign tourists (like ourselves). A good white wine was offered. The salad and miso were better than average. The maki was a little below average, with over-wet rice overwhelming the fish. The bento was well-presented and the food was plentiful for the price. I would recommend it as a welcome change from Alsatian specialties, but not as an outstanding sushi place.
