**Meletos: A Mixed Experience in the Yarra Valley** Meletos offers a picturesque setting for dining in the Yarra Valley, balancing a rustic ambiance with cordial service. While some diners have enjoyed flavorful shared plates and a delightful cheeseboard, others found the food inconsistent, noting unbalanced cocktails and subpar main dishes. Service has garnered mixed reviews, with some guests appreciating friendly staff but others experiencing delays and a lack of attention. Despite occasional noise disruptions, many appreciate the serene surroundings and atmosphere, making Meletos a potential choice for both romantic dinners and special occasions, albeit with tempered expectations for food quality.
The menu was set, featuring three appetizers, a choice of one main course, and either a dessert or a cheese board, which we decided to swap for since we’re not big dessert fans. The cheese board was delightful! Both the appetizers and main dishes were exceptional, full of flavor, and left us wanting more. We truly enjoyed our date night here and would highly recommend Meletos to anyone looking for a lovely, romantic dining experience.
We had an amazing lunch at Meletos. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all flawless—10 out of 10! We will certainly return.
