**Meletos: A Mixed Experience in the Yarra Valley**
Meletos offers a picturesque setting for dining in the Yarra Valley, balancing a rustic ambiance with cordial service. While some diners have enjoyed flavorful shared plates and a delightful cheeseboard, others found the food inconsistent, noting unbalanced cocktails and subpar main dishes. Service has garnered mixed reviews, with some guests appreciating friendly staff but others experiencing delays and a lack of attention. Despite occasional noise disruptions, many appreciate the serene surroundings and atmosphere, making Meletos a potential choice for both romantic dinners and special occasions, albeit with tempered expectations for food quality.

The menu was set, featuring three appetizers, a choice of one main course, and either a dessert or a cheese board, which we decided to swap for since we’re not big dessert fans. The cheese board was delightful! Both the appetizers and main dishes were exceptional, full of flavor, and left us wanting more. We truly enjoyed our date night here and would highly recommend Meletos to anyone looking for a lovely, romantic dining experience.
We had an amazing lunch at Meletos. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all flawless—10 out of 10! We will certainly return.
Meletos is a great place to not just celebrate special occasions, but the grounds exude calm peace for your Soul. Although a small menu option, the food quality is fantastic, and staff are polite, attentive, and well trained. Our lunch at the Cafe was going great until the noise level was adversely interrupted by a large group of noisey young ladies on a long table, right in the middle of the Cafe. A walk in the garden after lunch, restored our peace and pleasure of the day.
This place is perfect for a special celebration. The food was exquisite, and the atmosphere was breathtaking.
It was my husbands birthday unfortunately our experience was not great. The service was nearly non-existent. He had to get up 3 times to go to the bar to get a drink. The food was ok, however the main steak meal looked like it had been broiled. We waited with main dirty plates on the table for 20 minutes did not even get dessert, which was part of the set menu. Quite disappointing as we have been to both their other establishments had wonderful times.

Wet attentive staff and FOH Matt was very friendly and helpful. Thanked the chefs personally at the end of our meal as food was outstanding. Nice to have our son Joel come chat to us as well. Always loved the ambience of this venue and had a wonderful night
I loved the style and design of Meletos. Nice and open with great views of the surrounding gardens. The service was great and the banquet was delicious
This is our second time dining at Meletos and it is incredible. For the price you pay, the quality of food and the serving is worth it. The location provides you the view of the winery and a touch of Tuscan living.
Only allowing set menu for 2 people was annoying. Then we didn’t really love any of the dishes, they were just ok.
We were surprised to pay a surcharge for the fillet beef which was listed as an option within the $75 three course lunch. Did not see this on the menu and was not forecast by waiter staff. If aware we would still have chosen the fillet steak and it was excellent. Thank you
