However, some guests found the overpriced and lackluster food to be a disappointment, along with mediocre service. Despite these critiques, others praised the accommodating staff, variety of food, and exquisite seasonal menus of creatively crafted dishes. The restaurant's charming garden outlook and attentive, friendly service were highlights for many diners. Overall, the dining experience at Stones was a mix of highs and lows, but the beautiful setting and promising dishes keep patrons coming back for more.
My partner loved eating here tonight. the food was delicious and we were very happy. beautiful atmosphere and personal were beautiful. a great experience.
This place, between the white mountains of the punt road and st. huberts (one of the oldest wineries (beyond the oldest) in the Yarra valley), is breathtaking in every sight. I was happy enough to celebrate my high time in this beautiful little chapel opposite the stables and have apéro and dinner in the stables afterwards. and several times afterwards. and when I come up with these old, naked stone walls and this beautiful heavy wood table with the incredibly tasty setup up into the building, I am am amazed. this is then done by the service of the staff who weep on the list and finally through the kitchen. what they produce in this kitchen is not to be described in words, this must be cost in reality. if you want to spend a special moment in time with a very special person, this is the place for it!
One of the best vegan meals I've had in Australia, amazing service and fantastic wine selection, we will be back, thank you.
Excellent food and service. I will definitely be returning. The maitre d' was especially welcoming and professional.Bravo.
These people completely disregard the locals. I’m a local farmer and their fireworks without notice scare my deer into the fences killing them. Let alone my dog. I’ve lost three so far.
