Stopped in here for a treat and was delighted. Amazing outside the usual baked treats. I had a delightful tea flavored panna cotta. The owner, Lindsey (hope I spelled that right) served up some delightful conversation as well. I live in the city but will definitely order some of these spices. Great shop View all feedback.
Beautiful store when you can buy delicious tea and some pastries.
On a rainy morning I stumbled upon this spot for a quick treat and I was won over by the warm and inviting atmosphere and wonderful shop owner. I opted for a chocolate chip cookie and it was the absolute perfect balance of a light, sweet with hints of salt. Everything is so unique and looks well crafted/baked. Truly recommend and will return!
What a gem of a store. This is the type of place you can tell the owner really cares about the products she offers. The baked goods selection is always delicious and meticulously displayed. And you can always trust the products she curates are top of the line. Sure maybe you can find a few things online, but who needs 5lbs of paprika at any given time LOL. The fact of the matter is, this store inspires creativeness. I walk in there and my mind starts going as to what I can make with all the unique and interesting options. Top that off with a reasonable price point, friendly service, and products I can trust... what else can you ask for, especially in this neighborhood. What do I know though, I've only worked in a few dozen restaurants in the city and a few Michelin and James beard recognized places haha.
As with the last three times I visited this establishment, the owner has been incredibly cold today was no exception. I was simply there at my wife 's request because our in laws were in town from Canada and she wanted to showcase the only spice shop close to home we recently moved from Rye to Peekskill. FYI these spices, Ceylon Cinnamon, Pasilli Chili, Tri Pepper Blend, organic cane flavored sugars, the 'Golden Glow ' with turmeric lavender, of the GMO and non irradiated variety, non sense, you may purchase all of these items online Amazon Prime for a fraction of the cost with an ETA of 72 hours. The proprietor should not be in business. They must own and live in the unit above. Surely they don 't sell enough spice to cover rent enough for a one bedroom apartment in NYC. Save yourself a trip my Westchester constituents. It 'd only be wasted. DO NOT COME HERE.
