As a first experience it was positive, special and good brioches, excellent pastry chef and owner... good coffee, in an enchanting place like the Pomposa Abbey.
I stopped for a quick snack, ordered a bruschettone, which was good but not to my liking—my mistake. Then I had a delicious coffee and, last but not least, a chocolate pan suisse.... It cost €4, which I thought was a bit much, but it appealed to me. Well, it was worth every penny and more! EXCEPTIONAL, worth coming just for that! The place is nice; I preferred the old one, with the sand from beaches around the world. The service is friendly and attentive.
Beautiful, suggestive place now with the wisteria, delicious pastries, if you come to visit the Pomposa Abbey, it is worth a stop
Visited for a quick lunch on a business trip. Menu is tilted towards fish and seafood, with some classics and other more creative options. Paid EUR 32 for starter (grilled calamari) pasta main (gnocchi with monkfish, asparagus and fava beans), water and coffee: it's an honest price given that it was all fish. The restaurant is right next to the Abbey of Pomposa too, which looked lovely but was I too in a rush to visit.
