Delicious food, excellent service, and a fantastic location. The view from the dining area is breathtaking.

Always an excellent dining experience! The atmosphere in both the restaurant and pub areas is lovely. We usually visit for special occasions since it's about an hour's drive from our home, but it’s definitely worth the trip. They were very accommodating this time, especially since I had my 4-month-old baby with me. My grandparents have been coming here for years and absolutely love it!

I've been visiting this charming establishment for several years now. It's a classic independent pub and restaurant with a traditional interior—think red carpets and dark wood tables. The cozy atmosphere features a log fire in the winter and boasts a magnificent view in the summer. It truly is a hidden gem worth every penny. One of the few remaining independent pubs and restaurants, the staff here is busy yet friendly, having worked together for many years. My partner insists that their beer is the best around, and we happily travel about 20 miles to enjoy it. The food is just as traditional as the building itself, featuring beautiful steaks and hearty portions. This place is a unique find among independent pubs, and I highly recommend it!

Had a lovely meal with my family here today . Food is amazing and the service was great . 14 of us there and we all felt relaxed, welcome and left with full tummy's and a smile .

Eating is always good here. the seafood starter was delicious, but quite large, so choose their main course carefully. I had a delicious sirloin steak with a creamy and mushroom sauce, fried wobble, mushrooms and tomato. my man had the frying tension he said was perfect. our party has declared itself very full after two courses. the desserts were appealing, but we had no place for them.
