Description

Can't wait to come back for more. separate vegan menu, the whole day breakfast offered and many other delightful things like creamy mushrooms on toast and pastas.

Maxwell’s has a beautiful sounding vegan menu offering breakfast, lunch and dinner options and I think they have vegan desserts, although they are not on the menu I saw. there are many outside seats, so we sat in the sun on Saturday morning, shortly after they were open. I ordered avocado and tomatensalat on full tone, with a full breakfast for naves, with two large decaf americanos and sat outside enjoy the sun. the eating was delicious, although Hubby realized that the baked beans were missing from his breakfast after he had eaten it and we were confused that they served dry toast when vegan margarine is readily available in any super market. we enjoyed the decaf americano coffee so much, we ordered a second while we looked past the world, how maxwell’s is in a great place for people watching. would definitely be available as a vegan breakfast in clitheroe is not easy.

Had a nice meal in maxwell’s tonight- zucchini burger’ (was on Panini style brot) was great and trio of sorbets delicious! great to have a dedicated vegan menu.

The service at this restaurant was excellent and the food was outstanding. Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable. The daily specials were exceptional. My wife and I both shared our meals (I ordered the fig and pancetta flatbread) and they were both delicious. I wished I could have stayed there all day just to eat another meal.

The breakfast is excellent and reasonably priced. It would be fantastic if they offered fried bread with the dish.
