This restaurant is very good, and we ate here two nights during a 3-night stay. Had the brick chicken the first night which was grilled with great flavor, and had the eggplant parmesan special the second night which was baked in an iron skillet, also vet good. Very friendly and attentive staff, really good food. The prices weren't cheap, but not above what I was expecting. I would come back if in the area or staying... View all feedback.
This was by far the best meal we enjoyed during our trip. The restaurant offers a lovely variety of appetizers that are well-prepared. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who provided great suggestions. There is seating both inside and outside, as well as a well-stocked bar.
Katie and Brenton have established a warm and inviting dining experience with incredibly delicious meals. My partner and I visited on the last night of the season and found the dining room filled mostly with locals. One of the regulars stood up to raise a toast to Katie and Brenton, praising their commitment to maintaining such a valuable community gathering spot with high standards. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Nakoma Restaurant fifty44 and are already planning a return visit when they reopen in May.
East coast transplants, ask about the Sunday Sauce and the poutine, order two of each with one to go. Katie and Brent have put together a warm, inviting spot coupled with outstanding food. For parents, their kids menu is excellent. And Katie's wine list and drink menu is a look at this restaurant pro's insider knowledge. Seriously, the Sunday Sauce is so good you'll want to eat it in a dark room with your shirt off. Try to save room for dessert (good luck) because their desserts are made from scratch, local, and deliciously bonkers.
I regularly come by buying some food in this place. I loved the prompt customer service and well cooked dishes. They never disappoint.
This restaurant is truly a gem! Wonderful, thoughtful menu. Friendly staff. Excellent service. A beautiful location with indoor and outdoor seating. Great bar. I highly recommend the pork belly and the chicken. Tasty desserts.
