Drove up to Sierraville from Truckee for an outing. There's not much of a town, but we spotted this little Mexican restaurant, so we tried it. It was highly recommended. The food was delicious, the margaritas were really good too. A little spendy but worth the drive. View all feedback.
What Dave Newcastle doesn't like about Los Dos Hermanos:
Didn't hate it, but wouldn't recommend it. No real flavor or enjoyment in any of their dishes. One of us was in the mood for a Chimichanga, and by all means avoid ordering that. It was horrible. The various enchiladas were tasteless. Tender meat, but no flavor. When the rice and beans have more flavor than the enchilada, that's just weird. Skip the desserts as well. Pleasant folks, and the drinks are ok, so if you're... View all feedback.
Feels like home... People come for the authentic food and reminds me of the Traditional Mexican restaurants in Texas were when you become a patron you also become family... Great vibe every visit...
Food was great, service was great, prices are okay.
Mexican restaurant with a bar that also sells hamburgers. Shrimp burrito was tasty and Carne Asada burrito was good, but the meat sometimes seemed over cooked.
Attended restaurant 2017 and enjoyed the food, I am looking forward to a return meal there in a few weeks time
The food is amazing! When you walk in the restaurant, the smells are amazing... We enjoyed our food service was prompt and friendly. A must stop if you're in the area.. Prices are reasonable as well.
