What OpenTable Diner doesn't like about Villa Amalfi:
Food was good, but not great. We got the swordfish and the chicken parm. Place was quiet with not many people there on a Friday around 7. Server seemed to slack off on us because we were the youngest couple there, most of the other people were 50+. Seemed to be paying mostly for the ambiance since the place looked fancy. Consistently good Italian food and attentive service. the restaurant could use an updating of aesthetic perseverance.
I was not in this restaurant in over 25 years and we had a great time with delicious meals. Thank you.
I always get either the Rack of Lamb or Stuffed Shrimp, which I find to be delicious. The food is good overall.
Appetizers were good. We had colossal shrimps, crab meat with avocado and burata. I was upset no seas on the menu and they brought wrong pasta dish for my my friend. They also brought wrong water brand and the lobster was over cooked and rubbery. Presentation of the food could be better. Not going there anymore
