This pub for the first time for a few drinks between christmas and new year visited and we were not disappointed. decent quality and good price beer / camp, cozy, but not crowded and great music on while we were there!
I booked a table for drinks early. ordered food at no comms still wait on net when ordering steak, not advertised, but sure they had. came ar burned, not carved. sent back not loaded, but not the point.
This time there was no table service, but it should have been. also there was no place for social distancing at the bar. they had some reasonable local brewing on tap, and that was served quickly and was well presented and delicious
Went for Sunday lunch yesterday, we had booked in 5 of us when we arrived our table was not even set up. The food was shocking the meat was so tough none of us could cut it, veg was also hard. Asked for more gravy which we never got we will definitely not be returning. We took the beef home for the dogs. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
This pub is very popular for Sunday lunch and the food is excellent. I give it a rating of 5 for both food and service, as well as for the atmosphere.
