While the food at this place has been something to be enjoyed, there is a boundary that should be observed between customer and owner. Perhaps this...little restaurant should focus on their food and not step over the line with impertinent and offensive comments that were directed at my partner and I. Being a restaurant in a small town does not mean that small mindedness needs to be included in the tab. There is plenty to be enjoyed in the Collingwood area. Leave this place off your list.

We stopped in Creemore on our way home from Collingwood after a brief Family Day holiday to see the Smallest Jailhouse and Log House that are situated on the Cr... read more We stopped in Creemore on our way home from Collingwood after a brief Family Day holiday to see the Smallest Jailhouse and Log House that are situated on the Creemore library site. Unfortunately these were both closed for the winter season, but it was still...cool to see them from the outside. Need to go back in the summer I guess. Since it was lunchtime when we visited, we walked over to the main street (Mill St to see what we could find for food. We randomly choose the Bank Cafe since it was close and looked nice from the outside. We were so happy that we did. It's has a very cool vibe inside. A cross between history and modern. The lunch offerings were very nice, and they even made our picky son French toast (or pancakes? I can't recall) off the breakfast menu. They were very accommodating. For desert we had amazing butter tarts and great coffee. We also bought some molasses ginger cookie dough to bake at home later. Those cookies were amazing! I highly recommend this cafe if you find yourself in Creemore...it's worth the detour also!

Loved the Cinnamon roll it was different instead of the usual icing it had a brown sugar glaze and blueberries on top! They have a variety of different honey flavours, I bought the ginger honey! Not disappointed would definitely come back

I learned about it l... read more Great selection of baked goodies, and excellent coffees. I had a Americano and it was excellent. I came for Meredith's Lemon Ginger elixer. I learned about it last night and had to get it. Made locally with local ginger and honey, wow, potent and yummy. Worth a visit. P.S. The staff and owner are super friendly. I will visit again
