This establishment is closed! Perhaps temporarily but I cannot be sure one way or the other. The website, Facebook page and phone number are all still operational and mentioned nothing that the restaurant is closed. The phone is connected to an answering service with a mailbox that is full. We decided to spend two hours and drive up to Singhampton. We were greeted with overgrown weeds around the property and a locked door. Not even a sign on the front door. Very disappointing.

Indeed the food is very good but hardly enough to taste it. I got a fish on risotto measuring 2"x2" and ¼ " thick over a handful of risotto and dribbles of lobster sauce . Since Lobster is not on the menu, hard to know how they made the sauce! I was really teed off when presented with a main course for $26 of the exact same size as an appetizer of same fish (different sauce) priced at $6-7. The water at the table had a horrible taste as well forcing me to order a glass of house wine at $14. Chef did prepare another plate for me once I pointed it out. However not sure they will change their portion, call and find out before.

Small menu but absolutely delicious. Pizzas made with toppings pulled right right from the garden and with Eigensinn speck. Grab some treats from the bakery while you're there.

We stopped in Singhampton and found Haisai, the artistic and quirky restaurant owned by one of Canada’s leading chefs, Michael Stadlander. We had pizza, soup and salad for lunch..and each was deliciously different and wonderful. The interior of the place was as unique, creative and...interesting as the outside...highly recommended!

Being a restaurant by the incredible Michael Stadtlander, it was a bit of a disappointment. We drove two hours to eat here from Toronto. By 2:00PM, they were out of nearly half the menu. They seemed understaffed (which happens, its ok) Two pizzas, an appetizer...and two glasses of wine will run you about $120.00. Restaurant is interesting, and you can see the love there. Its a place to check out, if you're in the area..
