The food was tasty, but not so exceptional to deserve the prices being charged (good food, but not mind-blowing). We shared 3 dishes and they all tasted pretty much the same. Expensive.

The almost legendary Chef Stadtlander has hand created an environment that is both alien and quaint - in the middle of rural Ontario. The cuisine is fresh and whimsical, and the servings and presentations are surprising and delightful. Completely out of the way and out of the ordinary. Highly recommended for adventurous seekers of local and innovative fare.

The restaurant hosted an incredible Robbie Burns Night event with a 6-course meal, oven-roasted dishes, a Highland Park Scotch tasting, and a fantastic piper. It was a night to remember and felt like I was being transported to the north of Scotland. Thank you to Haisai and Highland Park Scotch for the unforgettable experience!
