Parker's Kitchen - Claxton

I usually love this place, but not anymore. Not only do they no longer carry the CBD products I need, but today I almost fell at pump 4 due to a spill, and I could have seriously injured myself. Given that there are many elderly people in this town, it could have been even more dangerous for them. When my husband asked if they could clean up the spill, they refused. So, if you ever get sued for not using a spill kit at the gas pumps, just know it's your own fault.

I've been a customer of Parker's since the brothers opened their location in Claxton, but I won’t be returning. The self-service system is a joke, and the entire town feels the same way. Before self-service was introduced, the drive-in offered quick and friendly service. Now there's always a long line, and often you have to wait before you can even place your order. I'm sure there are reasons behind these changes, but I still don't understand them. Goodbye, chewy ice.

It was a busy Friday, but unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. There was no ice available in any of the soda fountains, and the outdoor trash cans were overflowing. The bins that normally have window washer cleaner were completely dry, as if they hadn’t been refilled in days. Meanwhile, the employees seemed more focused on joking and chatting with each other or playing on their phones rather than attending to the needs of the restaurant. What a letdown.

I buy diesel there every week. For the last three weeks it 's taken 30 minutes to get $25 in diesel. It usually take $120 to fill my truck up. I don 't have an hour to fill my truck. Each time I 've brought it to the employees attention and they all say the same thing we can 't help you with that ,that 's not our job. Well someone needs to do something. It 's so convenient to go somewhere else !!

I'm a black 72 year old basketball coach in swainsboro ga... i travel from my home in claxton daily to swainsboro for practice... i usually stop in metter to get potato logs to put something in my stomach and take my pills... never had a problem in metter... nice people.. good service... i recently started stopping at the parkers in claxton so as to not have to rush to get to metter before 4 oclock when they stopped serving... buying potato logs in claxton i noticed that in every box of 8... 4 of them would be so small that they were barely the size of my pinky finger... i mentioned this to some friends and they told me that i was not the only one complaining about this... several people have told me that the white servers give the larger food portions to their white customers and give the black customers the smaller portions... this doesn't surprise me about claxton... i won't be going back to the claxton store unless it's an absolute necessity... and i also agree about the attitudes of the workers... someone needs to tell them that they are not doing us a favor by working there... there are plenty of places for us to spend our money...
