I got the gringa and it was really good. Next time, I?ll replace the steak with chicken because their steak is really fatty and chewy. Also, they need to change their menu prices on google because it said the gringa was 10 bucks and they actually charged14 for it.
You can't expect much in Claxton, Georgia, but this place has really gone downhill quickly. The last few times I visited, the food was poorly prepared, and recently I went to watch the game only to find that none of the TVs were working. Just give up. I won’t eat at a place that can’t even afford to keep their TVs running. It would only cost around $150 to replace their small TVs, but I guess this is Claxton.
I don't go very much anymore, just not a big fan of their prices. We purchased a large chips and cheese dip with salsa and they gave me a miniature bag of chip, I thought the were kidding...they were not lol! So I had to buy another bag of chips from them to be able to have enough with the dip. They need to definitely make the size of their chip bag way bigger with a large order.
We used to love coming here until tonight. We were a party of 4 and didn’t ask for much at all. We were charged with a 15 percent tip that I wasn’t aware of and I started to tip on the receipt until I realized what was done to our bill. The server should have mentioned this. My family and I will not be back.
I ordered a la gringa and the food itself was decent. I get about 3/4 of my food and take a bit and pull a hair out of my mouth. I informed the manager who took the plate then came back to the table and said “just to let you know no one in the kitchen has long hair. You can walk back there and see for yourself.” Then they still made me pay for the food.By no means do I mind paying for food. The issue was how the manager responded. I will not be back
