Splendid Diner - City of New Rochelle

I was treated rudely and all I was trying to do was pick up a Grub Hub order. The guy working there never even communicated with me and asked who I was picking up for. Comes back with an order on hand and instead of handing it to me no he goes and puts it on the counter and walks by me.

Walked in was welcomed by the woman up front who arranged for us to get a table. She asked a waitress to wipe off the table before we sat. The waitress said that’s not her table. She then cleaned the table a minute later and said you can sit. After sitting for a few minutes with no interaction from the staff for water or coffee we realized we were not in a place we wanted to spend our money.

Splendid Diner in New Rochelle was a delightful surprise during my visit from Chicago. The friendly waitress handled everything, even though it seemed like she was the only one working. Definitely worth a try!” ???

This is a nice, lowkey diner, always clean with good quick diner food, and on-point service. If you're in the neighborhood it's a good cozy choice!
