Description

For nearly 75 years this old-fashioned walk-up ice cream shack has been a West-side staple, serving ultra-creamy soft-serve in cones, sundaes and classic specials. Portions are generous, flavors are bold (vanilla-orange twist a local favorite), and staff move quickly even when lines form. It’s seasonal but opens early and stays late, accepts cards, and accommodates large orders for events. Be aware parking is limited and flavor variety is modest — Dole Whip isn’t offered — but fast, reliable treats keep customers coming back.

I absolutely love this place! I try to visit every time I drive in to work. I'm really sad that it will soon be closing for the season.

We live around the corner from Zip Dip and have always been fans of the service and ice cream. For our baby shower, our family surprised us and took individual orders for ALL of our baby shower guests…around 30 people!!! Our siblings and dad picked up the order and brought everyone back treats to enjoy. It was an absolute hit and so, so special to share one of our favorite treats with all of our favorite people. They said that the team was quick and efficient in making everything happen. We will always be thankful for the sweet memory, thanks to Zip Dip!

Anyone who rates Zip Dip anything less than five stars must be out of their mind! It's the best ice cream in Cincinnati!

Refreshing treat for my wife and me in the middle of the day. I found a St. Louis Cardinals mini helmet for some soft serve chocolate ice cream and my wife had the BONANZA (a smaller version of a banana split).
