New in the area and saw this was my closest sushi establishment! I ordered carry out and got 2 rolls. One cooked and one raw. Then I also order their dumpling soup. Service was okay! No problem picking up my order and walking out the door. Order was done on time. Once I got home (5 min drive), I pulled out my food and everything looked good! I took 1 bite out of my non-cooked sushi and immediately spit it out. It tasted old and had a awful smell. The cooked one was a little bit better but couldn't finish it. Dumpling soup was okay, just wish it had more flavor. It tasted bland. Overall, I probably wont be back for the sushi. Will have to try something else next time.
This was so yummy! I had never l been here but my friends wanted sushi so we came here. I don't like sushi. I got the chicken fried rice stone bowl with a said of teriyaki. Came with the standard house salad. Very delicious!! Definitely want to come again. Stone bowl was $15. Not sure what my friends paid for their sushi but it looked awesome and they enjoyed it
They offered to remake my meal if I returned the incorrect one. So, I drove 25 minutes back to the restaurant to pick up the corrected order. After checking it outside, I noticed there was still sauce on it. I went back inside and pointed this out. The staff suggested I could just scoop the sauce off since it was only a little bit, but I explained that my child wouldn’t eat it with any sauce on it. Consequently, I asked for a refund. The girl at the counter seemed to have trouble with the register, so I requested to speak to a manager, only to be told there wasn't one on duty. Ultimately, she said my money would be credited back. When I requested a receipt, she struggled to figure it out but eventually managed to void the transaction and print one for me.
Disappointing. Anderson is missing authentic Japanese and Korean cuisine, and I'm sad to say SushiNati is just another asian-fusion shop that misses the mark on the most important factor, flavor! It all starts with rice. The cornerstone of manyAsian dishes and oddly, the most often overlooked ingredient in Asian fusion restaurants. In both the sushi and bibimbap, therice was completely unseasoned. The ingredients were fresh, easily deserving two stars. However, the lack of attention toauthentic flavors and finesse will prevent me from returning to or recommending SushiNati. Lastly, the service althoughfriendly, was unorganized and verbal tension between staff was visible, concerning and off-putting. For reference, had takeouton a Sunday evening.
