Our server, Z, went above and beyond! There were two birthdays in our group and she surprised us with complimentary birthday desserts, which was a thoughtful gesture! View all feedback.
What Jillian Hord dislikes about TRIO:
Service took forever! Which would have been ok if the food was worth it but sadly it was below average. We used to go occasionally and it was always really good. Over $100 for 4 people, no cocktails, didn't get 2 of our orders right, bummed! View all feedback.
Always a wonderful experience and top shelf food. In this crazy economy Trio’s gives great value for the money
Great service. But 3 of our party ordered flatbreads or pizza and all 3 looked like they had been sitting on the pass for a long time. My Mexican flatbread, I ordered and got charged for extra chicken. Didn’t see it on the flatbread and it just had no taste. Our appetizers were pretty good though.
This is Mom’s favorite and we try to arrive early as Mom gets older. Hostess was very pleasant, at 93 with a walker a round booth is very difficult to manage. The food which is normally perfect was off! Grouper was tough and cold, short ribs were tasty, mashed and vegetables were cold and grossly under cooked. Yes, we have a high bar, we expect more and we’re not impressed.
This was my second trip to this restaurant in two days. But my experience with seating was horrible and as I think about it more I feel like vomiting my dinner I just ate. On my first visit my brother and I came to the restaurant with no reservation and we were seated in the very back of the restaurant. I refused to sit in the back and encouraged the hostest to seat us in the front with large windows. On my second visit I came with a reservation to an empty restaurant and again I was being showed the back dark booth. Upon reaching this seat I told the hostess the entire restaurant is empty why the worst table. I asked politely to be seated in the front by the windows. I encourage all to avoid this restaurant because this is racism 101. The restaurant was under the assumption that we were a GAY couple. Fortunately I was with my brother and we are not a Gay Couple. I imagine all Gay couples are sat in the back. I was told by the two managers who escorted me out that they have seat rotation. I observed that everyone who was seated after me was seated in the front of the dinning room. There was no seating in the back of the dinning room after me. The seat rotation never existed. While I explained this to the manager both hostesses turned so red like a tomato The city of Cincinnati does not accept the LGBQ Community nor does this restaurant. Please stay out and show respect to all. I am off to puke my dinner and will never come back here again. I look for everyone's support.
The service staff here is always impeccable, excellent and deserving of their tips. The food is good, a bit overpriced for what you get sometimes particularly for lunch (I hear dinner is better). The restaurant atmosphere is solid but it's looking a bit dated to my taste, some areas could definitely use a renovation. Overall a solid place for a nice evening or lunch out.
