The burrata starter, wedge, and kale caesar salads were the highlight of our delightful experience at Losanti Fri Night. The burrata was a perfect sweet and crispy bread similar to what you find at Sotto. The salads had crispy fresh leafs and amazingdressing and fixings that significantly upped the flavor profile. I was so over excited about the steaks I think it impacted myexpectations as the cuts were choice but I don’t know that it wowed me. The half pound meatball was a sight and the look ofthe pastas made me regret my steak decision immediately. The desserts were made to order and while I thought the butter cake wasa bit salty the rest of my party really loved it. I would totally go back but the price point was a bit on the high side.
I wasn’t excited about coming here, but I’m so glad I did. It was fantastic! My Moscow Mule was served in a copper cup with crushed ice A everybody’s drinks were great. Wedge salad was fantastic with a whole strip of bacon. The waiter(s)w.great we had a really good time. I had the 8 ounce filet mignon that was fantastic. The cook (owner) dies something gmagical with mushrooms man they were the best I have ever had. Wow. We had the roasted Brussels sprouts to share. It wasa generous portion for the Four of us and tasted great. Finally, I didn’t want to get dessert (a minute on the lips; foreveron the hips) but God, ——— They have this butter cake thing that is served with a scoop of ice cream on top. I thinkthat it is the best thing that I have ever eaten
Came to Losanti on a whim while in Cincinnati for a girl's weekend. We walked in with a group of 4; I recommend calling ahead for a reservation as we were fortunate to have bar seating and seated immediately. We found it on the map as we were scoping outplaces to eat and it did not disappoint!! Fabulous drinks! We all got entrees and then sides to share as they are servedshareable size. We had steak, truffle spaghetti (one with meatball, one without) and the orecchiette. My goodness, the food wasamazing! They seasoned with truffle exquisitely, steak was cooked to perfect temperature, and the lamb sausage was so succulent.Would definitely come back!
Great restaurant! While our server seemed a bit too scripted and lacked authenticity, making us feel as if we were being attended by a robot, the outdoor seating was fantastic—much quieter than indoors. The food was outstanding, and I would definitely return.
Last night, shortly after we were seated, we noticed the restaurant becoming quite smoky, and there was a noticeable delay in food service. It seemed like something was going on in the kitchen. Our eyes began to itch, and that discomfort lingered throughout the entire meal. While we understand that issues can arise in a restaurant, especially in an older building, the main concern was that our waitress seemed to completely vanish. When she finally returned and I inquired about the smoke, she didn't provide much of an explanation, only mentioning that the manager was attending to other tables (who never came to ours), and then she disappeared again, never revisiting the topic. Additionally, she asked us about corking our wine while we were still in the middle of our meal, and it was evident that she wasn't pleased when we finally requested dessert—a skillet cookie that has typically been our favorite but was unfortunately overcooked this time. At that point, we had been there for nearly three hours due to the long wait for food, and believe me, we were ready to leave as well. We realize that things can happen, and we’re not looking for compensation or anything of the sort. However, it would have been appreciated if there had been some acknowledgment or explanation about the situation, along with an offer to remedy the discomfort. A small gesture can make a significant difference. It's a shame because the food was still quite good, but after spending over $500 for a party of four, it's unlikely we'll be rushing back anytime soon following this experience.
