as we went into hoppin’ we noticed the friendly simple flow and smiled both by staff and customers. we felt like the one we belonged here. we enjoyed a summer tasting with terratorium wines and Hoppin’ vines pizza. there is something very special about these pizza crusts when they are prepared in pizza ovens that have been specially brought from italy! I recommend the terratorium Rose’ paired with the hampizza. great... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hoppin' Vines:
the wings are out of sight. it's a loud atmosphere, so there is. the pizza looks good, but they have messed up our order. the service here is unusual; feels like a college bar at 1:00 o'clock. server are like “yes, what do you need?” View all feedback.
Hoppin' Vines is a Hoppin' place! We loved beer selection and the food was delicious. It was my first coal-fired pizza. I highly recommend the bacon pickle pizza. The wings also fell from the bone and tasty. Not five stars because the bar staff was rude. It was as if they were ordered by us uncomfortable drinks or ask for money. The bus drivers were friendly and efficient, but the bar staff was reluctant. It wasn't a busy day, so I'm not sure what its mentality was.
The atmosphere is very cool but if you have never been to this restaurant there are some things you need to know. Everything is self serve. We stood waiting to be seating and a young girl came up to us and said to sit wherever. She then sat at the hostess stand and played on her phone forever. No one comes to your table. You need to go up and order your food. They don?t bring it all at once. They bring it as it?s ready and the food runners aren?t very friendly. Pizzas are a bit burnt but the salads are good. You will need to hunt for your own silverware. It is not provided. No drink refills either. Not sure if are required to wash our own dishes?
Interesting mix. Craft Beer, wine, Bourbon, pizza and duck pin bowling. Good selection and service on all counts. The pizza is solid, if nothing special. The cheese bread was visually meh, but hide on flavor. The wings were delicious. Thumbs up
Miranda was AMAZING!!!! She was so sweet, attentive, and the best ever. We want to go back just for her food service! The beer was great. We loved duck pin bowling, too. All the staff was super helpful! The food was really good, too. We enjoyed the chicken bacon ranch pizza! Such a great time, highly recommend!
Have never had something here that I can say I love. Most recently stopped by to get some wings during Cincinnati Wing Week and really did not like 2/3 of the wing options I had. Maybe it was the amount of wings they had to prepare or something, but wings were not consistently crispy, some parts were very soggy and not because of the sauce. Sauces were also not impressive. I want this place to do better. With pin bowling is one of the only places that between food and fun you could spend a lot of time with your family here.
