My man and I visited sotto for the first time yesterday evening. we had heard how good it was from many of our friends, so we finally stopped to check it out ou... read more My man and I visited sotto for the first time yesterday evening. we had heard how good it was from many of our friends, so we finally stopped to check it out ourselves. our server was cameron and he was fantastic! he explained us the menu in detail and he gave us really great recommendations to organize and servier sizes. he made our experience even better at sotto. that was amazing! it was one of the best meals we ever had. we're talking about going back!

Unique restaurant in the cellar! the entire restaurant is underground, giving it a dark, intimate feeling. the stairs and all the tables are illuminated by cand... read more Unique restaurant in the cellar! the entire restaurant is underground, giving it a dark, intimate feeling. the stairs and all the tables are illuminated by candles, so it is a real candlelight dinner! the service here is excellent and they are happy to answer or recommend. are small, so they plan to order several items when they are looking for a full meal. leave them space for the ricotta donuts as dessert! it is hard to get reservations here as it is so popular. plan on their reservation at least 2 months in advance to get their desired date and time of watch.

This was her only request for her birthday and let me say...from the both of us...Sotto was an amazing dining experience! Our waiter was absolutely the best! All staff that helped bring drinks...dinnerware...courses of food...were all trained professionals with an amazing aura of positive energy. This is what was expected of such a restaurant of this cualiber. Safe to say...our expectations were met exceeded. We will definitely be returning for future special occasion meals!

The food, drinks, ambience and service were all top notch, this is easily one of our favorite restaurants in Cincinnati!
