I had the worst service experience at this restaurant. I was staying at the RENAISSANCE hotel after attending the Bengals vs. Raiders game, so I expected it to be busy. Before the game, the bartender said food would be served until 11 PM. However, upon returning after the game and sitting at a table near the bar, it became clear that my table was the only one not eligible for table service. After waiting for 1 to 1.5 hours without anyone taking our order, I attempted to get a drink at the bar. I managed to get one after a wait of over 20 minutes, but when I tried to order a second, I was left waiting for another 20 minutes with no service. Eventually, a different table opened up, and I noticed waiters attending to it even before the customers had left. Frustrated by the lack of attention, I moved to that table but found it dirty and still ignored by the staff. After waiting an additional 10 minutes, a waiter finally approached the table behind me. To my astonishment, the customer was informed that no more food orders were being taken, even though it was only 9:30 PM. I asked the waiter about this discrepancy and was told they indeed weren’t accepting any more food orders. It was clear the kitchen was overwhelmed, but it was disappointing to be told that the kitchen would be open until 11 PM when they weren’t able to accommodate orders. I had come specifically looking for a late meal and drinks but was let down by the restaurant’s inability to serve us. Despite the poor service, the food looked appetizing, and I sincerely hope those who were able to order truly enjoyed their meals.

I went out for dinner with three friends before attending the Cincinnati Ballet's performance of Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake. Fortunately, I secured a reservation for Valentine's Day weekend. Our server for the evening, Lisa, was both courteous and attentive. The menu offered a fantastic variety of options, and the presentation of the food was outstanding. Overall, if you're seeking a distinctive dining experience in downtown, this restaurant is certainly worth checking out!

We decided to dine at D. Burnham's for an early dinner before heading downtown for a show. I had heard great things about their Sea Bass from one of the sous chefs, who recommended it to me after I mentioned my struggle to find a good Sea Bass meal in Cincinnati compared to what I had in Biloxi, Mississippi. The Miso Glazed Sea Bass did not disappoint. The fish was perfectly cooked, with a great balance of flakiness and firmness, and the Miso Glaze added a delicious flavor. Even though I typically don't care for asparagus, I found myself enjoying it after it had been glazed with the sauce. My dining companion also ordered the Sea Bass and agreed that it was excellent. The service was top-notch as well. We can't wait to return for another meal at D. Burnham's.

As a group of about 16 on a Monday night, out for cocktails and appetizers, we had a fantastic time. The appetizers were phenomenal. Chicken wings with celery and carrots served with ranch or bleu cheese sauce, barbecue sauce and buffalo sauce proved to be adequate for all taste buds. The crab cakes on top of creamed corn broke apart easily and chunk of crab were not visible, but the presentation and the taste were delicious. All the cocktails looked great. They had a nice wine selection and ambiance was very sexy. Mood lighting was in the dining room, but we remained in the waiting area as the group staggered in and out. The lights in the waiting room were bright considering the rest of the sexy establishment, but we still enjoyed everyone, and the wait staff was efficient and fantastic. We'll be back for brunch!

Burnham's was our choice for a breakfast meeting while in Cincinnati. Food and service is consistently exceptional. The staff in particular deserves to be called out for their attention to detail in making for a great dining experience.
