What Jeff doesn't like about Council Oak Steaks And Seafood:
Normally good but this visit was a wasted effort. Shrimp was not good. Prime rib looked too bad to eat. Ordered a steak and it was over cooked. After an hour I had to eat a not so great steak. Most concerning is nothing was done to make up for the negative experience. View all feedback.
Best steak restaurant in Cincinnati without question. Service was attentive and flawless (ask for Peter). Steaks were cooked to perfection and were a true value compared to the over priced steaks that are served elsewhere downtown. Michael is a true gentleman and great general manager.
Everything from seating to service was excellent. Best prepared food. Cooked to perfection. Will recommend and be returning.
The steaks were seasoned and cooked perfectly, the request for customized salads was honored without question and the salads were just as requested perfect! The entire server staff is the best in Cincinnati! Tasia was our server and she is absolutely amazing! Best dining experience in Cincinnati by far! Highly recommend.
When the reservations were made we indicated that a vegetarian was needed but nothing was offered beyond the typical side dishes. Overall the food was good but disappointed that they couldn't just do a pasta and vegetable option.
The steaks were cooked perfectly. The crab leg was ridiculously expensive for the small piece. It was more expensive than my steak. Live and learn. Other than that, everything was great.
