Wok! You Want - Chicago

On a positive note, the delivery was quick and the price was reasonable. But that's where the positives end. The food was bland, with a strong taste of stale or rancid oil. The general Tso's chicken lacked spice, and the breading was slimy. The fried rice was greasy and lacked any vegetables or eggs. The roast duck tasted off, with gray flesh. We ended up throwing the entire meal in the trash after a few bites. Even the egg roll wrappers were undercooked and had the same unpleasant taste as the rest of the food. The beef chow fun was the best dish out of the bunch, but only because the beef and sauce masked the unpleasant oil taste. Overall, our experience at Wok! You Want was disappointing.

I live nearby, so my opinion of this restaurant might be influenced by its closeness, but I received fast and piping hot delivery with no leaks. I enjoyed a generous portion of vegetables in my vegetable fried rice, the hot and sour soup was delicious, and my egg foo young was substantial. This is now my preferred choice for Chinese food!

I absolutely love the egg rolls and rice at this restaurant. I will definitely be coming back for more.

I have visited this restaurant before and always had a good experience, but yesterday's visit was disappointing. I had the chop suey, which had large pieces of meat that were tough and unpleasant, and the whole dish was greasy.
