We had a wonderful dinner at Volare. The food was delicious, freshly made pasta and sauces. A perfectly done tiramisu completed the fest. The waitress, who had worked at the restaurant for 25 years, was kind, attentive and knew the menu inside out. I will definitely come back. Ps: they offer a very reasonable valet parking for $15 for up to 3 hours. View all feedback.
What Chloe Chan dislikes about Volare:
Everything I had at Volare was really average. The atmosphere feels kind of homey, it's a small place with lots of paintings on the walls and a bar. The risotto was a bit too cheesy, the calamari was average. The squid ink pasta was the best dish we ordered and even that was not memorable.Food: 2/5 View all feedback.
I love Italian food and make my own pasta at home. This... this was the best Italian meal I've EVER had. The pasta was perfection. The flavor and the texture was amazing. I'm from out of town (about 2.5 hours away). I would drive here for dinner again.Food: 5/5
Volare is always a solid choice for authentic Italian in Chicago. This was our second visit to the restaurant, and we enjoyed our experience dining on the patio this time. Our waiter was prompt and accommodating, as this trip I needed gluten free options. The gluten free pasta bolognese was fantastic, and the portions are huge! Don't forget to get a reservation, as this place will be busy. We will definitely eat here again when in the city.
What a wonderful dinner at Volare. Fantastic food and stellar service! The bruschetta was excellent for a starter. Each of us had a different pasta entree all were superb! Dessert and coffee were perfect too!Food: 5/5

Food was amazing I will say it was very cramped in the dining room but the service and good food made up for it
