Contribute FeedbackSelam Ethiopian Kitchen presents a blend of culinary experiences, garnering feelings ranging from disappointment to delight. While some diners found the food bland and poorly executed, particularly noting issues with vegan dishes and cold injera, others praised the generous portions and flavorful meat options. A standout feature is the budget-friendly pricing, making it accessible compared to competitors. However, the atmosphere could use improvement, as stark lighting detracts from the overall charm. Despite the mixed reviews, Selam remains a promising choice for those craving Ethiopian cuisine, especially for budget-conscious diners seeking variety.
Amazing vegan plate. smells at the place are fantastic. the personal is friendly. good atmosphere. constant free refills of water and tee. byob options. good price. recommended.
Was happy with all 8 pages plus a green salate in the middle. Maybe next time I ask for a little more. it was a good amount of flavor to please everyone in a group! the curries were all well flavored.
Ethiopian is always a great stand for a vegan on the road and selam not disappointed! delicious vegan plate, reasonable prices, good beer selection.
The food was good, not great. Generous portion sizes as expected from any Ethiopian restaurant. However, the injera was really dry. It took away from the overall experience, because it was kinda like having really tasty sides with sandpaper : Hopefully, this was a one-off, but being from out of town, I'm not sure I'll be able to give them a second chance.Ambiance was nothing amazing. Standard Ethiopian restaurant stakes, so no real complaints there. Service was prompt and reasonably quick.
The food here is awesome, it's open later than most restaurants and i had a really nice date here. A good place to sit with friends and laugh, friendly atmosphere.
