Was I D at Sabri Nihari a mag?
Does not get anymore authentic that this restaurant. Food is great so flavorful, so tasty and wonderfully spicy but stuff will worn you about the level is spiciness. Very interesting desserts. Small advice..they have much bigger selection of dishes on the weekends. View all feedback.
What Huma B dislikes about Sabri Nihari:
Food good as always. We went for lunch during a weekday when they were not busy yet we had to go look for waiting staff when we needed anything. Other than that no issues. Their food is always fresh and taste amazing. View all feedback.
This is a definitely the most iconic and most recommend restaurant to go to in Devon. The food has great flavor and spices. Sometimes they may over spice the food but this is usually when it is busy. But come here when it’s less busy and the spices here are good. I recommend the nihari and the falooda.
This place lived up to its name. Their nihari is the best we have had in the US. Unlike all the other Pakistani restaurants who are liberal with pouring buckets of oil when it comes to their nihari, sabri nihari's was not oily, it was flavorful and the meat was tender. Will give it 10/10 Their haleem was good, we enjoyed it. Will rate it 8/10. Definitely worth a try. Chicken boti was fine. Will rate if 7 8/10. For dessert we got faluda. It comes in 3 different flavors pistachio, vanilla and mango. Our waiter told us that that their mango was the most popular one however we wanted to play it safe and got vanilla. We absolutely loved it. They used little roohafza for the flavor unlike other places where the faluda ends up tasting like roohafza milkshake. This was probably the best faluda we have had in the US. Will rate it 10/10. They were nice enough to give complementary chai. Like everything else, this was good as well. Overall one of the better Desi restaurant we have been too. Their service was good. Nice ambience. You should definitely try this place if you are craving Desi food in Chicago.
I had an awesome experience here. The staff was friendly and courteous towards me. The food was a 10/10 for everything. My only concern was about the Nihari which only has one Boti in it if meat, but one of the senior waitstaff clarified that they have always been giving one Boti and an extra Boti can be given upon request for $9. Overall the Kheer and Falooda were superb.
Absolutely loved the Nihari and Maghz Masala!
