Met two family members for a casual lunch. Hadn 't seen them in awhile. Had a lovely time at R. J. Grunts. We all ordered burgers and loved them. Arrived about... read more Met two family members for a casual lunch. Hadn 't seen them in awhile. Had a lovely time at R. J. Grunts. We all ordered burgers and loved them. Arrived about 45 minutes early. No problem. Got a booth in the window so we could enjoy seeing Lincoln Park across the street. Great waitress Sam. Grunts is small and can be very busy. This time it wasn 't. Crowd built slowly as lunch hour passed noon. Great time to go. Great service and great burgers!

Unfortunately, for the second time this year at a Chicago bar, I looked at my credit card statement and discovered... read more I dined and had drinks here on June 20, 2024. Unfortunately, for the second time this year at a Chicago bar, I looked at my credit card statement and discovered that the server/bartender added an extra amount to the tip without my permission. I kept the customer copy for comparison. This is outright theft, and I intend to speak with management about it.
