What Alexandra Kozey likes about One North Kitchen & Bar:
We had reservations and were seated quickly. Everyone was surprisingly attentive! The table are was nice but the commuter crowd in the bar next to us was a bit noisy . There are some glass walls but there are openings. Our appetizer , verde chicken flatbread was good and plentiful. The risotto and white fish entree’s were flavorful ,excellent and reasonably priced for downtown . The we were served promptly and our wa... View all feedback. What Darryl Runolfsdottir doesn't like about One North Kitchen & Bar:
I had asked for my burger to be cooked medium, but it arrived medium rare (more rare than medium). I didnt send it back, because I didnt have the time to spare. My fries were undercooked and not crispy as they usually are. As for service, I didnt like the waiter he was too aggressive and pushy. When we said no thanks to all the extras he offered (unsolicited), it was obvious he had no interest in serving us after tha... View all feedback.

read moreA visit to a North Kitchen located in front of the Opernhaus provides a beautiful view of the opera house from the dining room. The service, while slightly rushed, was friendly. The food received mixed reviews, with a burger and Caesar salad being deemed just okay. Some dishes, like the fish taco, impressed while others, like the b.l.t., fell short of expectations. Oscar's, on the other hand, offered a great breakfast buffet with friendly and helpful staff. The coffee and juice bar were highlights, as well as the wide variety of food options. The noise level at a post-opera dinner was a drawback, but the drinks and service were good. Across the street from the Lyric Opera, the restaurant offers excellent food and generous drinks with cheerful staff. In the loop, the restaurant is well-managed with a competent cook and service-oriented staff, making it a top selection for business or social meetings. Prices are slightly higher than average, but the modern atmosphere provides a good dining experience. Overall, the eating experience was delicious with friendly and professional staff, catering well to pre-show patrons. While the food quality may have varied on different occasions for some reviewers, the general consensus remains positive, making it a recommended spot for a pre-show meal.
