Hidden inside a hotel lobby, walking into the restaurant made us feel like we were going into an exclusive spot. The entrance is a bit odd but once you get into the dining area the atmosphere is cozy, romantic and full of life at the same time. Everyone there wanted you to have the best experience from the greeter to the waiter to the chef and the manager. My girlfriend and I had a great time celebrating her birthday... View all feedback.
Naoki is one of the better sushi restaurants in Chicago, although it falls short of being in my top tier. The interesting thing is that any sort of omakase must be ordered in advance...although I appreciate that certain items must be prepared in advance, sometimes I just want nicely prepared courses of nigiri. Otherwise, good service, good quality of fish, although the rice misses the mark.
Been here 4x now in the last 2 years and they've always been very consistent. The quality of the rice is amazing. Perfectly cooked. The fish are always fresh and full of flavor!
Went for the first time in an early Saturday evening. You enter through the kitchen and walk into a small dining room. It's a very nice comfortable space and tables are far enough apart that you can have a private conversation. The wait staff was really attentive and friendly. Took my valet ticket when we got our check soy car was ready by the time we got out there. The sushi was really fresh and very tasty. The tuna tacos were a very tasty twist. I also really enjoyed the seaweed salad. The freshness of the fish and the specialty sushi definitely make this place worth it.
Naoki Sushi is a great experience with amazing food. This is some of the best sushi and Japanese quisine we've had outside of Japan, and Chef goes the extra mile to make everyone feel welcome. The staff are extremely kind and attentive as well. Everyone at Tangerine Mountain highly recommends Naoki Sushi for an authentic, tasty, and fun night on the town!
Tucked away in a hotel lobby, entering the restaurant felt like stepping into a secret gem. While the entrance is somewhat unusual, the dining area welcomes you with a cozy, romantic vibe that's also bustling with energy. The staff— from the greeter to the waiter, chef, and manager— were all committed to ensuring we had a fantastic experience. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed celebrating her birthday there. I can’t wait to return once I get my next paycheck!
