The food was outstanding! The flavors were extraordinary, and everything was truly fantastic. The guacamole was the best we've ever had. However, the noise level in the main dining room was quite high at 6:30 or 7:00 on a Saturday night. (I've heard it's much quieter during the weekdays.) We have been to Mixteco many times over the years (even before they opened up the back room) and have never had a bad meal there. Their sauces are boss! We recommend getting a reservation because it can get packed. It is also quite noisy and the food can sometimes come a little too quickly for our tastes (we want to chill with our wine a bit).
