Eméché Cakery Cafe - Chicago

The cheesecake was absolutely wonderful. I ordered the lemon cheesecake, and it was light and airy, almost whipped. Both the flavor and presentation were divine. I will definitely come back!

I visited this restaurant three times last week. I came for breakfast while waiting for my clothes to dry in the laundry. I really enjoy the ambiance and the music playlist—it creates a wonderful atmosphere. Everything is made in-house, and the quality is excellent. Today, I tried the zucchini bread, and it was fantastic! I haven't had zucchini bread since my grandmother passed away, so I'm quite particular about it. The staff is friendly and helpful when they feel like it. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

I was recommended eméché by one of the women in my group, and we all had a fantastic time there. The food was incredible, and the coffee I ordered was just perfect. The atmosphere was very calming, and the artwork nearby was impressive. I definitely plan to return when I'm in Chicago!

We were searching for a bakery that could create a vegan hummingbird cake for an event, and Emeche truly exceeded our expectations! It was possibly one of the best cakes I've ever tasted; everyone at the event wanted to know where it came from! Our experience was flawless from start to finish.

My friends and I spent a few hours on their incredibly comfy couch, and they were kind enough not to rush us out. We made sure to order plenty of food during our time there. The dishes we tried, including the fried egg and cheese biscuit sandwich (with an added sausage on one), and the red velvet cupcake, were absolutely delicious. That was the best biscuit and egg sandwich I've had in years! The cashier was very friendly, and it felt like everyone there—mostly locals—knew each other, creating a warm atmosphere. With great food at good prices, I’ll definitely go back, especially for the apple butter!
