★ 4.2 / 5 from 758 reviews

D'Cuba offers a mixed experience for diners seeking an authentic Cuban culinary journey. While some praise the vibrant flavors and standout dishes like the mojitos, ceviche, and jibarito, others have expressed disappointment over blandness and overly garlicky flavors. Service experiences vary, with reports of both welcoming staff and unapproachable attitudes. Ambiance is often highlighted as inviting, although the restaurant's small size and lack of dedicated parking may pose challenges. Overall, D'Cuba invokes strong opinions, making it a polarizing yet intriguing destination for Cuban cuisine lovers, with many eager to return despite the critiques.

Had a work meeting and was in the area. Looked up some places, and this had great reviews. Came in, and it's a nice, fancy, and small location. Took me by surprise and very inviting. Their garlic bread appetizers are delicious. I got the jibarito, which was very tender and delicious. Unlike other jibaritos, this wasn't greasy whatsoever. It didn’t come with the garlic on top, which I love, but that's on me for not asking. I also got the black congri rice. Never had it, but it was different and good. The others in my group had different meals, too, and they loved it as well. Think it was some kind of fajitas. They did look and smell great. I will be coming back and trying out a new dish. Hopefully, they will surprise me again. On another note, they make everything from scratch, so it's fresh, and it may take a while, so plan ahead. The other group that walked in after we were leaving did call ahead for dine in. Must be regulars! You live and learn, and not a bad idea either.Parking: They don't have a parking lot. At least it's free street parking.

BEST CUBAN FOOD IN THE AREA. YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR A LITTLE BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS MADE FRESH.

Though we had made reservations when we got there were told it was closed for a private party one of the service people told the very unfriendly woman (in Spanish probably not thinking we spoke Spanish) that he’d told her about the reservation. The woman begrudgingly showed us to a corner table we should have just left but we didn’t and felt very uncomfortable by the situation. Rather than apologize the woman acted as if we were at fault.
