Tip Top - Charlottesville

The food at this restaurant is always incredible. I have been here multiple times and the food is always delicious. It can get a little loud, but that's just because it's so popular. If you can't find parking in the front, there is plenty of parking available behind the restaurant with a great view. It's recommended to make a reservation, especially if you have a party of more than 4 people.

This restaurant is lovely with excellent waitstaff. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service is super friendly. The food is delicious - I had a gyro with fantastic French fries. Yum!

There are three items that create the most value for the customer: Prices, Service and quality. Tip Top has it all. Lowest prices in Charlottesville for the quality of food that they serve. Portions are large and most customers leave with to-go boxes. Service is excellent, most servers have been there for over a decade and know repeating customers by name. Quality is key, most sauces are home made and it truly tastes home made. The parking lot is full which indicates the success of the restaurant.

We were in Charlottesville for a medical appointment and decided to try a local restaurant instead of a chain for lunch. I'm always a little bit leery of local restaurants because you never know what you're going to get. We were pleasantly surprised. The parking lot was packed, which is always a good sign. The food was great and for a reasonable price. The service was excellent and fast. Would definitely recommend!

This place runs with a well oiled machine. Tables are cleaned as soon as people leave, server got our drinks and order, food came out hot and surprisingly quick. I guess cause it’s so popular they have to turn things over quickly. I had the club And my hubby had a omelette with bacon. Always good home cooked food. Wonderful job y’all!!
