Great place to eat in Downtown Charlottesville. I really appreciated the macaroni cheese with five cheeses and the tomato soup. Perfect for a freezing cold day. Very thoughtful, helpful and kind workers.Food: 5/5
We stopped because almost every other eatery on the mall was closed on Sunday, February 12. We did not want to fill up because we had nice dinner reservations so we ordered the big board of meat and cheese and a french press coffee. The service was great and the food was excellent. There were several things we were not sure if we would like it or not but we had a hard time determining what we like the least because it was all so good. I would absolutely come back to try some other food and think you should give this place a try if you need a snack.
I’ve always enjoyed my food at Tillman‘s and make it a point to visit when I’m in the area. I love their unique pairings and the wines are fun. Wish I lived closer.
I’ve walked by this restaurant hundreds of times and thankfully finally stopped in last Friday for lunch. I had the avocado toast with garlic spread which was delicious. They have an excellent selection of wine but as it was lunch I didn’t get to tryany this time. They also have an wonderful assortment of cheeses. Extremely vegetarian and great service!!
Very happy with this sister restaurant to Tonic. This is the original, I am told, and you can see “creative” is a theme. I had pimento cheese and a simple salad. Also had a Montenegro Amaro…. Another key sign for me that a restaurant is MY kind.
