I've been told that this is the original location, and you can definitely see that creativity is a core theme here. I enjoyed the pimento cheese along with a simple salad, and I also tried a Montenegro Amaro. It’s always a good sign for me when a restaurant offers something unique like that!

I wanted to order their Cuban, which looked delicious, but their 'sandwich of the day ' was staring me in the face, so I went for it. Soppressata on baguette with some fancy cheese, mustard greens, cippolini onions, and stone ground mustard. Came with carrot salad, which was chopped with green onion and parsley and lightly dressed. All of it was fantastic. Great size portion, without making you feel like you need a nap. The service was quick, but the atmosphere still felt warm. You could grab to-go, stay and have a quick lunch, or hang out and read while having a beer. Fills a huge gap on the downtown mall.
