Last year, the steak was outstanding, a... read more We usually celebrate birthdays at this restaurant. However, last night, both the steak and pork chop were disappointing. Last year, the steak was outstanding, and we couldn't stop raving about it to everyone. Unfortunately, this time it was tough and lacked the same great flavor. Perhaps it was a different cut of meat? The pork chop also had a lot of fat and not enough meat. On a positive note, our server was excellent, and while the atmosphere was a bit too loud for those with hearing difficulties, the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. We loved the artwork on the walls. Whatever changes you’ve made to your food since last year, we hope you'll revert them back.

I am from Northern Virginia, so planning an event from out of town can be intimidating. We had our event, with a presentation, in the Hearth Room. Everything was very easy to schedule with Michelle, despite our last minute/tight timeline. All contracts were online and easy to access. We selected our menu, which included options for all diets and modifications were accommodated. Anna was the manager for the evening and she ensured the room was set up and organized for optimal learning. Wond was our wonderfully attentive bartender and server throughout the evening. If you are looking to host a corporate dinner, I would strongly recommend!

The selection of drinks is also excellent, earning a perfect score of 10/10. The atmosphere is charming and comfortable. You definitely need to visit for an authentic Cville experience!
