Plaza Azteca - Charlottesville

Our food was really good and I had a great margarita. Only negative I can mention is that our table was wobbly. It is difficult to enjoy conversation, food and drink while your table is constantly shifting back and forth. This was our first time eating here and we would still come back. :

Delicious food, great staff. Drinks are fantastic. Highly recommend. Prices are reasonable. Aesthetically this is a very pleasing restaurant. Super convenient location.

The food was FANTASTIC!! The prices are reasonable. We were 2 adults and 2 kids, we ordered 2 meals and guacamole, we all ate a lot and still had enough leftovers to eat again the next day. Their guacamole is amazing! We also had some leftovers, and the next day was still delicious, the avocados did not turn dark at all. The reason for the 4 stars was the service. Was super slow, we got there at 5:15 pm on a Saturday, there were only a few tables with clients, the food took approximately 50min to come, and when you have a 3-year-old and a 9-month-old waiting that long for the food was a little stressful. And when we were done and the kids were ready to leave it took them a while to bring the check. But the food is great! Super worth it!

Food is pretty good here. I love how they griddle the tacos. I haven't tried a wide variety of the menu, but its an extensive menu. The margaritas are pretty good too but like almost every restaurant, not nearly enough tequila...you know, to taste it? Be careful, some of these drinks can be very large volume-wise. Tasty mix but just too much, I need room for food!
