Ten is a modern Japanese tapas style restaurant located in the heart of Charlottesville on the Downtown Mall. Since 2006, Ten has been serving a mix of traditional and innovative cuisine created by Chef Pei Jen Chang. We pride ourselves on sourcing the finest ingredients from local, regional, and international purveyors to offer a diverse menu that caters to all culinary preferences. Our bar menu features an extensive selection of wine, imported and local craft beers, and one of the largest collections of sake in Virginia. Additionally, we offer handcrafted Asian-inspired cocktails and 'Sake Flights' for a unique tasting experience. Server was knowledgeable and helpful. Gave great advice. Food was excellent. Best sushi in central Virginia by far.
The only reason I gave a 4 for ambiance is that it was difficult to read the menu as the print was smaller and lighter and the lights were down too low. Otherwise I highly recommend this restaurant.
As always, the experience was phenomenal! We visit this restaurant every time we come to see our daughters at UVA, and we've never been disappointed.
This is an excellent spot for a date night. You're paying for the complete experience, not just the food!
This was our first visit to Ten, and we will certainly return! The food was fantastic. We kicked things off with gyoza, then shared a wasabi roll, a tiger roll, and a wagyu beef roll. Each one was delicious, and we can't wait to try even more items next time!
