I couldn’t taste th... read more Fleurie is our special place to go. The filet my husband had before was delicious, but not last night. I ordered the lobster with bolognese. I couldn’t taste the lobster because the sauce was so strong. This won’t keep us from coming back but will be looking for something that tastes much better.

It’ll be 7 years since our first visit and we are hopeful there will be x7 more opportunities to enjoy! An added note, the wine we selected was not available and the sommelier brought us a slightly higher priced option but honored the price of the unavailable one. Those are the significant service points you will find, among many others. Merci for a wonderful evening.

She wa... read more We had an amazing anniversary dinner here. The canapés, amuses bouches, three courses...everything was top notch. We were impressed by our server, Ellie. She was knowledgeable, helpful where our knowledge of French cuisine or beverages lacked, friendly, and professional. Her fellow servers were also attentive, ready to refill a glass or remove an empty plate at a moment's notice. I had the foie gras, filet mignon, and apple tart. It's hard to pick a favorite course. Even the sides were amazing in and of themselves. (The mushrooms with my main course...perfection) This was a perfect anniversary dinner. We went for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary, and it did not disappoint! They created a customised menu for us, it was absolutely spectacular, as was the food,the wine, the atmosphere, and the service. Could not give a higher recommendation!

From the welcome platter to the house-made bread to the appetizers followed by the main coursethat looked like a piece of art and tasted beyond any description topped off with apple crumble with homemade ice cream andanother platter of deserts!!! Setting and ambience were equally enjoyable. Service surpassed our expectations as all of the waitstaff worked as a team and were top notch professional, attentive and polite! We are not from Charlottesville but will for suremake a reservation and visit Fleurie next time we are here as it is truly a treat! Thank you to all who made such a wonderfuldinner experience happen!
