Best culinary experience in cernobbio! bar azzurro may not look like much from outside, but it is a genuine authentic Italian restaurant with attentive friendly... read more Best culinary experience in cernobbio! bar azzurro may not look like much from outside, but it is a genuine authentic Italian restaurant with attentive friendly service, good quality traditional food, reasonable prices and free limoncello after the desert. the place is so lively and welcoming, also the natives who are for their evening aperitivo wish them buon appetito! as they pass by their table. when they visit cernobbio, I recommend to them to go up a hike to the mountain peak and make sure that the bar azzurro is lunch or dinner on the way up or down. I only have one recommendation for the restaurant. the lighting in the dining room could be improved somewhat. it was a bit too bright and gave office feeling.
