Waited in the drive-thru for 10 minutes before being acknowledged. He said go ahead with your order. I said my order. He didn't confirm my order. I said, hello, hello did you get my order. Another 10 minutes. I beep my horn, still no acknowledgment. Fewminutes later, He then told me go ahead with my order. I said my order yet again and by this time he's playing games as if hecouldn't hear me. So I pull up to the window he asked me again what was my order, repeated my order, he then ask the cook, Iguess, if they had chili they said yes. I ordered a large chili with two cornbreads. He gives me my order and says we only haveone cornbread. I received a vegetable soup, two Cornbreads and two rolls. The young gentleman working the drive thru and at thewindow had no customer service skills at all.
Excellent prices and delicious food. It's a family-friendly restaurant with a no-smoking policy.
The food did not seem like it was cooked fresh. My chicken taste like it had been sitting under a light my daughter's pork chop had so much breading on it It was more bread than pork chops and my other daughter didn't even eat her chopsticks she said it was nasty sweet potatoes or candy yams or in so much sauce anyway the food was just not fresh and not good. Pictures of the food we didn't eat.
The food quality is consistently good, which is why we consider this place our go-to spot for weeknight dinners. However, there’s a significant issue with service. Despite having more than thirty tables, I've noticed that on many weeknights, there are only two waitstaff on duty. On our most recent visit around 6:30 pm, a section of about ten tables was closed off, and only seven or eight tables were occupied. We found just one clean table available. During our entire meal, neither of the two young waitresses cleaned any of the tables that had dirty dishes piled high, as if customers had just left. Unfortunately, this has become a common occurrence, so it’s hard to believe it’s simply due to someone calling in sick. Even with so few diners, I still had to go up to the front counter to request a side item that I had ordered but never received. Our waitress passed by our table twice while delivering food to others but never acknowledged us, making it impossible to get her attention. Despite these service issues, we keep returning on weeknights because we enjoy the food and, in general, the service.
Oh my, the breakfast here is absolutely delicious! Our waitress, Mrs. April, was fantastic. I ordered the sampler, which featured a sausage patty, bacon, and some of the best country ham I’ve had in ages! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to indulge their taste buds!
