The food was tasty until we discovered a strand of hair in the chicken we ordered. The chef’s menu was entertaining, but their quality control definitely needs improvement, and some staff members could honestly be replaced. One employee ignored a customer’s calls while busy cleaning, which is simply unacceptable—come on, that’s not the standard we expect! Overall, we will not be coming back.
The manager explained that the restroom has been out of service due to a clogged toilet, which is unacceptable for a restaurant. It’s been over a month, and it’s unreasonable to ask customers to use another business’s restroom. As a regular customer, I found this situation very frustrating and have decided to stop dining at Chowking in Carson, CA.
I ordered a dozen siopao from Chowking, eager to share them with my friends here on the East Coast. However, I was disappointed to find only 11 pieces in the box. I trusted that Chowking’s staff would be efficient and reliable, but this experience didn’t reflect that. I had high hopes based on their menu, but this oversight was unfortunate.
The beef wonton was mess when I got it. Soup was all over the plastic bag.
I bought a Lauriat combo here and whole waiting, I watched the employees preparing food for the customer. One of the employee, shocked me because she touched my fried chicken with her bare head, no gloves. I asked if that was mine and it was my food she'sgiving. I was shocked and told her to change d it because I saw her touched my fried chicken. I can't believe she do that andhopefully I am not the only one. I give them 1 star.????
