We ordered a fantastic fish and chips dinner for a group of 20 people and had it delivered to us. It was our first time trying a large order like this, and we all enjoyed eating together. It was a great success and we all had a wonderful meal. View all feedback.
What Winsby doesn't like about Central Chippy:
3 cod chips (one with mushy peas a roll) 1 battered sausage chips. We got home and: (1). the sausage wasn't battered ; (2). the fish chips were soft with the batter falling off the fish ... whether this was due to being presented in polystyrene containers so the heat from the food made it wet soft is open to conjecture. A very disappointing experience wont be going back in a hurry.
Never had a bad meal from there, All fresh and the shop is very clean and tidy. We use it at least 3 times a month
I decided to change up my dinner routine and visited this restaurant. I was pleased to see that they had a strict entry policy in place for customers. The menu was displayed clearly with prices, and the staff were well-dressed and protected behind screens. The food was of high quality, neatly packaged, and freshly cooked.
Not disappointed at all! Exactly what a chippy should be. Steak pie, chips, peas and gravy delicious. Perfect pastry and gravy totally yum

The food at this restaurant is fresh, hot, and delicious. I would highly recommend it. The fish was moist and cooked perfectly, and the mince patty was wonderful. Whoever is running this place turned it around five years ago. It is a fantastic place to eat.
