seldom find! nice gluten free fish chips batter was nice crispy. very friendly staff. this is the place of the ridiculously expensive meals in the hotel where we lived. simply drive from north to south and will definitely return to another trip. View all feedback.
I had gluten-free fish and chips and peas. I had to wait a while because they had to do it special, but no problem. I had the biggest place that even challenged my hearty appetite. So much indeed, that I had to leave some chips as I was filled. Good food and a good price
Excellent service. The prices are really good. The staff is friendly. Even had a really good conversation with the owner. I would definitely recommend this place. 5 minutes walk from Carlise Train Station.
A hidden jewel. Yesterday for lunch. The owner could not have been more friendly. The fish and chips were cooked to order and were absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back.
They've been up and down here for years and still everything, but completely satisfied. Beautiful fish and brilliant, up to earth service with prices often far lower than other local takeaways. If your fan of beautifully groomed fish and chips I can get anywhere ive higher than this
We’ve just had large cod and chips to takeaway and have to say that they’re the best we’ve had in quite some time. The chips were lovely, not sure what potatoes are used but definitely the tastiest I’ve had for an age. The cod was cooked to order and tasted fab with the batter very crunchy and tasty too. Shame we live in County Durham or I’d make this my regular chippy.
